Development started on faayda!

That’s right! After weeks of thinking about a concept, we finally came up with one for faayda.com. As you already know ‘faayda’ means profit but it is a general term which would mean profit in a non-monetary way as well.
Instead of making a website which would give information on loans, credits, stocks picks, interest rates etc. We wanted to do something else with faayda… something which would help freelancers and small to medium business owner’s work more smartly. Empowering them with simple business tools which would let them use the power of the internet.
This does not mean that we may not include industry news, stocks, banking products etc in the future… We want to start of the project with a simple tool and slowly but surely grow faayda.com into a full fledged financial portal.
I and my team have started working on our very first tool and we are very excited about it. Invoicing! You maybe used to creating your invoices on your computer and then printing or emailing them to your clients. If you were away from your computer and wanted to access your invoices, you will find yourself in a soup. In this age of instant information we need all our valuable files to be available on demand. This is precisely what we plan to do with this tool.
Once we have developed the backend, you will be able to log on to faayda.com and create your invoices online. Not just create then but email them instantly to your client, take a print out and all this will remain online on your secure account. You will be able to login from any computer & from any part of the world to access the information. If all this does not get you excited… there is more! Not only will your be able to email your invoices but your clients would get an auto notification of the emails sent by you on their cell phone. You will be able to see all open and closed invoices and which ones are due for payment with a few clicks, what’s more… you could even opt to get paid online and not have to wait for the cheque to come in!
These were some of the features we plan to implement with our invoice module and I think the most handy feature of all would be that all this information would be available on your GPRS enabled cell phone as well… isn’t that cool!
