Aim was to make searching for jobs within India simple… rather than going on multiple websites to look for jobs, how about a website within which you could search job listings from various prominent job sites and have various filters to narrow down to your perfect job… cool huh!

This is what gave birth to faayda.com but don’t think we will stop here. This was our first phase of development; we will incorporate various features as we go along.

Well… to some 100 may sound less but we have achieved this number with NO advertising at all and that too in such a niche category.

Internet is growing in leaps and bounds and it’s just a matter of time when almost every one will have internet access. This will revolutionize the way business will be done as more and more business will be opting to have information online so that it is accessible from everywhere.

Looking into the future, we are developing the technology today to help people do business online the smart way :)

This is why they thought we could be the next killer app.

“Faayda has some interesting implications for freelancers and small businesses. It provides security and ease of use which allows any business owner to focus on getting ahead and success.”

They also had a question for us.

“Will Faayda manage to turn a profit itself? It’s focus is primarily India, but will it be able to reach a global audience? Does it plan on going global?”

Let me take this opportunity to answer the above.

faayda.com is very well capable of generating revenues and turning a good profit. We are an internet based company selling SaaS (Software as a Service) which would generate a recurring subscription fees from our premium subscribers. With every tool we launch, we would be adding to our portfolio of services and in turn will add value to our subscribers. India is fast becoming one of the biggest markets in the world and our target segment spends nearly US $8 billion every year on IT related spending which is growing @ of 25% every year. We want to take advantage of this being an early player in this gorwing market. Our services are India centric and we do not intend to go global as of now.

I hope my answer has put all doubts to rest.

We will promptly add it to our online bug tracker and start working on the issue. You can also email us if you need to make a feature request on the module.
